Real solid email I just received from a seller...

I won and paid for this card 2 weeks ago. It's not a very high dollar card (99 Topps Ryan refractor), but I haven't gotten it yet. I hgave this little gem waiting in my inbox this evening:

Hi.. I sent your package out, but it got sent back to me because i forgot
to put your address on the package.. OOPS..So i will be sending your
package out first thing tomorrow morning. Sorry about that. I just
thought i would let you know what was going on. Sorry again

oops indeed.....

    LOL, that's the best.

There are all kinds out there. I hope he has had your package sitting on his desk for a couple weeks, and is really not that forgetful. Wow.

At this pace, you can celebrate Fourth of July with fireworks and your Ryan refractor. It may arrive by then.

  • Well, at least he was honest about his mistake. There are some sellers that wouldn't even take the time to write a note.

What a goof. At least you got a contact and your card is hopefully on the way. The world is full of knuckleheads.
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

I kind of feel like I should pay double for postage.

This is what happens when women try to sell baseball cards....

LOL... right... they should just keep cooking and cleaning rather than doing anything like using a computer, and they shouldn't even think about driving a car...

This is one of the most male dominated hobbies I can think of... but still... we must show some restraint just because the nice lady (must be a blond) forgot to address the envelope she mailed.
  • Word up... even the lonely male dominated legion of Trekkies has more female participants than does the sportscard sub-culture... or so I have heard lol...

Unless he/she/it sends you the package (or scan thereof) showing that it was returned,
I think that's just a way of saying "I never got around to sending your package"

1967and 1973 Topps baseball wantlists (any condition) welcome. Once had the #14 ATF 1967 set. Yet another collector like skylaneflyer, gimel1 who made it to the completion of 1967 only to need the money more than the company of 609 close friends.
Looking for oddball Norm Cash and Cleon Jones stuff, and 1956 team cards

maybe she forgot. If she is mailing out 10 or more packages at one time, I bet she's over her head!!
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

I once had the post office deliever a package I mailed out to a customer right back to me! I bet the seller thought I was crazy when I tried to explain why his package was running late.
