Is WCG Really World Class?

Used the search feature here and found only 2 discussions that mention WCG (World Class Grading).

Anyone know the rep of this firm? There's a '78 Pete Rose here listed as Gem Mt 10.

I would rank them with GEM, Pro, Nasa, etc. You don't know what you are getting and it's not worth the gamble IMO.

Ken Goldin's company. The cards were mainly sold on tv (Shop at Home), by none other than Don West himself. I would highly recommend them as a reminder of DW's legendary days on the air, but would advise to stay away if you are interested in that's inside the plastic.

The first time I saw DW was while on vacation in near Boston in 1995 - the guys were extremely entertaining and better than anything I had ever seen on TV with respect to cards!

Anyone who has never seen DW has missed out IMO. I have to say tho, I have never bought anything.
