Caught me a schill bidder

    what auction did he shill? my guess is he was NARU'd because of all the non-paying bidder strikes he's received..

    I believe when i sent it to ebay, it was on a 1968 OPC Rod Carew PSA 8. That auction ended about a month or so ago. He had 250 positives with over 1700+ feedbacks below that. I questioned Ebay about the difference in the positives being that great a difference and low and behold i got my reply today from ebay. I don't know if he was guilty for that auction or prior ones. Just glad to get rid of one.image

    well, i hate to break the news to you, but i dont think you reporting him to ebay as a "schill bidder" has anything to do with him being NARU.. i can just about guarantee that he is NARU because of a recent string of non-paying bidder strikes..

    i dont think you "caught" anybody, but if you can provide a link to the auction youre referring to, that would be nice.. what makes you think its a "schill bidder"? i see only 1 bid retraction in the last 6 months..

    if you came to the "schilling" assumption because you think the # of positives is out of whack (ie: 250 unique positives/1700 total), then he must be a "schiller" for hire.. because he's won DOZENS of auctions from DOZENS of different sellers..

    That is a ridiculous and completely unfounded accusation to make.

    My feedback rating is 168, and I have 3500+ feedback (all 100% positive). I guess you should report me as well, since there is no way I can be a legit ebayer. I'm sure all the sellers I have remained loyal to over the years by being a repeat customer will appreciate your efforts.


    I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

    uhh, you opened your mouth when you started this thread accusing somebody of being a "schill".. as you say "bottom line is", well, the bottom line is ebay did NOT remove the guy because of shill bidding or because YOU "caught" somebody, but because of numerous Non-Paying bidder strikes.. I'm 99.9999% confident about this..

    so far, i'm pretty sure you're an idiot..

    edit - also, i like my President, but damn! its now 2005, and he already WON! time to change your avatar, dude..

    Yea, I caught one last week and ebay let him back on this week! When I emailed him to ask him why he ended his item, he said his son was the one bidding on his item!

    Excellent point... I am right up there with you on this one. I buy most of my DS cards from one seller and with in the last year I have won over 2,134 cards from him. He has left me feedback for everyone. We have had other buyers think that we are both the same person.
