Anyone bidding at the ANR/Eliasberg auction?

Man oh man almost all my preliminary bids have been blown away!

Methinks it's going to be a real scrap buying coins at this sale.

Anyone else thus far?

Won at least 5 lots, probably more but they simply went for too much money. Trying to hold my cost to $100-$150 per coin. Not doing well on that score.

Well I won me 2 of the Polish coins ( yeh yeh the common ones) and was shocked at what lot 644 brought.

Some beautiful stuff there. I'm still holding my own on 2 auctions out of 4 that I've bid on. Tommorrow is the day for Latin America.

edited to add - I just gave one I was losing on a 40% bump. It was already at the high side of ANR's selling price guesstimate. Outbid! This is going to be an expensive or disappointing auction.

Compa: I must have been at fault on the Mexican coins as I was very aggressive on bidding on most the 1 Peso Gold coins. I ended winning a few of them. I also remember getting into a fierce bidding battle with MrEureka, losing out on to his winning bid.
