Legit 52 Topps Mantle on eBay?

    It may be a real Mantle I'd let some others here look first lol.. But one could buy it and erase the touch up then it would grade ?? I think they would grade a card that had damage rather then a recolor !! I still wonder about the consigner and all at most with the 1 day turn around you could have the card back in 6 to 7 days..

    Didn't we see a '52 Mick with blotches to the left of his face (like this one) in another fake-Mantle thread recently?

    This sentence sends my Scam-o-Meter and Bullsh*t-o-Meter right into the red:
    "I have been told to keep submitting this card because it will get into a holder my consignor says sell."

    I'm astonished at how many people are willing to pay for a raw, unauthenticated '52 Mantle as if it was in a PSA slab. You have better odds of success by using the money to buy 5,000 PowerBall tickets.

    You often see scammers use recoloring or defacing to cover the area where the missing pixel should be (or not be i suppose) lol.

    Contact danny at global..ok does he get a piece of the auctions final sales price by simply saying it is real...oh yeah its sunday and danny's not at the office..

    they could still SLAB it as authentic, whether its doctored or not..
