FS Jeffersons

O.K. - I decided to start a new series. The 1938- FS Jeffersons will keep me busy. I am going to try to make every coin. I pulled the sale from Heritage of two of these that I made. Unfortunately, I sold a 1950 MS65FS on EBay while pondering the issue.

This seems like a fun series. I bought the uncirculated rolls of war nickels from one board member recently. IT's fun searching for the FS. (After cherrypicking one FS from each roll, I will be selling the rest of the rolls. The 1950-D is on EBay now.)

Wish me luck.

All the 'war nickels' and the 1950D.

Nice! You will have a nice set when you are done, nicer than if you just buy the coins (say you find 10 ms66fs's of a certain date, you get to keep the nicest!). I'm slowly doing the same as you, but Lincoln Cents are my main focus. Also with the Jeffs, I prefer a higher grade coin over a full step coin. So if you have extra high grade coins... and you want my extra full step coins, let's trade!
  • Good luck David!

This will present quite a challenge, and mucho fun!

I wish you good luck - my love for Jeffersons started when I bought a few coins in Pcgs slabs. This was after I swore I would NEVER buy a slabbed coin and a Jefferson to boot. When I saw my first high grade Jefferson 1939D I was HOOKED. I still love it. Welcome my friend. Don/MMimage

    Good luck and enjoy!
As for the war nickles, if you end up with some nice ones that you don't want, let me know how much.
I am looking for 1-3 sets and don't generally trust the ebayers and haven't seen any good enough (priced right as well) for me locally.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
