Mr Mint's Unopened Packs - Auction results

Any thoughts on the closing prices yesterday of Mr Mints wax packs?

The '55 Topps pack in GAI 6 at $1,700 seemed to be one of the biggest bargains. I thought it would be at least twice that amount (Wayne Varner has a pack for sale on Ebay for $6 k and it's a grade lower!)

The '53 Bowman pack for $10 k probably set some type of post '48 wax pack record (an Ebay record for a pack; the most expensive sold at auction since....???).

I thought the prices overall were quite low-lower than they probably would've been in a regular ebay auction, and certainly lower than Mastro, RE, or even Lelands.
I thought in the case of a tie the earliest bid won? I had the same high bid on the '52 Bowman pack as the floor bidder (mine was in a week ago) but the floor bidder was awarded the pack.
The winner of the '67 Plaks pack got a steal, IMO.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

Maybe they give preference to the bidder there in person?

Not sure, but might be something checking out.

Too bad those are way out of my price range. That would have made for a pack-breaking extravaganza.
