Is it acetone that your supposed to use on hazed proof coins? Generally I wouldn't mind a little rim haze, but this bugger is maxed out with it.

I'm afraid Acetone won't do the trick - really hazy needs a quick Jewel luster dip and then acetone rinse.

Recommend diluting the JewelLuster with distilled water, and Going Slowly...

MS70 is also good for haze. But really rinse the coin after in distilled water as MS70 is a soapy substance and then rinse in acetone.

Here is the coin after I did the surgery ( lol ) ...... Although I don't have before and after pictures, I replaced the pic that showed a hazed over coin, with the now pretty coin lol .... anyways here it is, can you guess what I used?
