    Supposedly it was the first titanium coin ever minted. I just bought one for $8.50. The KM number was on the box. I thought tat was cool.

    Actually, the first titanium coin was the Millenium issue from Gibraltar in 2000. Since then they issued the Tupenny Blue and the British Virgin Islands issued a red titanium crown in 2004. Congratulations on scoring a Tupenny Blue for $8.50. This is one area where Krause isn't even in the same zip code with reality. I have sold hundreds of all three issues of titaniums crowns, and right now the original is selling for $100.00, and the two other issues are selling for $50 to $60. You can see all three of them in my eBay auctions image

    Thanks for the info. Danglen. I will be checking out the other coins. I picked up this one at a church bazaar/garage sale. I'm must say I'm very pleased.
