NEED HELP IDENTIFYING THIS COIN
![danglen](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/authoricons/BMT_Logo.jpg)
A guy just came into my shop with quite a bit of darkside material. I was able to identify most of it, but this one has me stumped. I know some of you guys can identify it in a nanosecond, so I told him I would let him know what it was within the hour.

I'm stuck at work without any reference material, but my instinct (wild guess) is one of the Swiss cantons, maybe.
<< <i> Dan, can you transcribe any of the legends for us? >>
I had though about the Swiss Cantons because of the cross on the shield, but wasn't able to find anything that looked like it in my Seventeenth Century Krause. The best I can do on the legends is "CONCORDIARES PARVAE CRESCVNT".

How often do you see a newbie pop in and ID a mystery coin on his first post? (Edit: not so much a newbie, perhaps, as a long-silent lurker?)

Hey, I use nothing but the finest silks for my backgrounds. Unfortunalely, this one was wrong side out

Yes, i've been lurking. I'd thought there was a post or two in there some time, but I guess not.
