Despite the title, it's not anything close to a complete set, and seems to be missing all the big cards. The "HOFers and stars" are players like Niekro and Lou Piniella. I'm guessing DSL bought a complete set, sold off the top cards individually, and is now selling the remainder as a lot.

Yeah, but some stars are in the lot AND at an average grading cost of $10 per card....there are over 200 cards graded PSA 8!!!!

Not disputing that, just don't like DSL calling it a "set"

You are right...they could have called it a subset but look at what they got!!!

Of course if I had bid we would have got into a bidding war and drove up the price. LOL, That is what makes auctions so interesting and why some people can get bargains. What if.....

I still say dsl is only hurting themselves by not accepting Paypal.

I think its safe to say this auction may have had more action if they accepted Paypal.

EDIT: I buy a ton of hockey from dsl and the turn around times are a killer. I pay with a Bidpay money order which costs me more $ and seems to take forever to get there. Paying by personal check also takes forever. It's really the only down side to dealing with them.

They should have called it a 'lot' instead of set.
