Thanks! A few Mercury proofs have been graded cameo, though I'm not sure for this date.

I bought this coin in 1997 from a Coin Universe internet auction and it was described as having
a cameo reverse. I doubt that it would grade cameo, but it is one sweet coin in this holder!

Tonight, I'm messing around with new camera, lighting and software. This one I took with a
paper tube surrounding the slab to diffuse the lighting (aka The Russ/Marty lampshade technique).

I'm on the right track, but have a steep learning curve in front of me now.

Here's my first half-decent color coin shots. These are out of focus at the top
as I'm still having to tilt the coin at an angle to properly capture the toning.

I've never been able to capture color and luster without glare, though, so
I'm starting to get excited!
