I'd guess at some point all our collections will be cashed by us or our heirs. When will the great buying opportunity occur.

Can't give a date, BUT, 2 months after I'm dead! They will be glad to sell for face value! Maybe I'd better take it with me, huh? Wife's just don't understand. I don't get no respect, neither do my coins. Ray

I assume you mean the bulk of (or all of) the collection, because I'm sure I may sell some pieces occasionally (mostly to buy other coins). It's possible I may sell some of them in my retirement years, but I have no plans to do so.

I am hoping my collection will never be sold. I have no kids yet, but hopefully when I do they will take an interest in collecting. Some coins in my collection belonged to my father and some belonged to my wifes grandfather. I could never imagine selling these off. Actually I have never sold a coin im my collection. I even get attached to my recent ebay purchases. Just hoping that my collection will stay in the family for generations.
