Thought I'd share this one with you. My computer has been giving me fits with pictures for the past month, so I have a backlog of Conders I'll be posting, if anyone is interested.

Silver proof. The dark areas you see are purple, fading to lighter purple in the fields. Alas, my photo skills are lacking.

Barton's silver was a sandwich of silver around a copper core (sort of like current US money). The article indicates that Boulton was the minter. There was a different obverse die as well that has DROZ F. under the bust.
