What ever happened to the PCGS "Supershow"?

Several years back, there was a great show located at Chicago's beautiful Navy Pier. It was officially called the "PNG/PCGS Supershow", if I remember correctly. Aside from the obvious fact that PCGS and PNG no longer are affiliated, what caused the demise of this show??

    We thought it was a good idea but the response was miniscule. The attendence was so poor at the first event that we never tried a second one.
