There's something on Mr. Jefferson's nose!

I was going through a few rolls of 2005 nickels and found about four coins with an extra, rough piece of metal on the tip on Jefferson's nose. Has anyone else seen this. Is this from a die gouge? The size and shape of all of the ones I found look to be almost identical. The attached picture is not very good, and a little hard to see, but the best I could do. I need to learn much more about coin photography.

Isn't there a venereal disease that rots your nose? Maybe that's what it is.

Thanks for the help. The pic is actually a high resolution scan that I made a negative of to enhance the offending object on the nose. It shows everything. Yes, that is probably a "piece of fuzz" hanging from the "D".
