Does this look proof to you?

I always worry about posting ebay auctions in case I offend another forum member. I like the look of this 10 francs piece but I don't think it is proof finish. What do you think?

10 francs

It's hard to tell with a scan. In a scan, BU coins exhibit some of the same characteristics one would expect from a proof.

Yep, hard to tell anything from a scan, but those whitish spots could be PVC damage.... maybe? It has a weird color for silver. image
