Because someone dragged up an old thread and so many have asked either on that thread or through PM for me to keep you updated, I will do it.
NONE OF THESE DOLLARS ARE FOR SALE through private treaty, when they do come out, our chosen venue is Ebay. Please don't PM me as I won't answer in private, only on this open thread, and then only if I feel like it. I don't want another pi--ing match with anyone.
Most of these dollars are now being stached away. Lee has more money already than she needs (or ever thought she would get for the coins from a dealer). Still a lot to go through, a lot of common stuff but you'd be surprised what pops out of a common roll every once in a while.
I intend to write a story for Numismatic News whenever I get finished with at least a pop report on what she has. It's not a secret, just watch the PCGS pop reports.

don't worry about some of the goofballs here- they are a bit jealous that someone found a hoard like you did- even if it's not yours it's still a great find. Put em on the market here or on the BS&T board- you know I'll get a few from you- as I already have. By the way- the last one that I got has awesome colors on the obverse- already have someone who wants it for their collection. but it stays with me for awhile.
and for those that flamed him before- get real- the coins are legit and he is a lucky Son ofa to have it land in his lap the way it did.
First, this is a fantastic story and along with many others I've eagerly followed each installment. I think you over-reacted to one or two members who found reasons to object to the postings but it should have been clear that the vast majority of posters enjoyed reading the continuing developments. Every collector dreams of finding such a fabulous pile of stuff just to go through, even if they don't own it. I've been encouraged at how you were completely honest with the owner and gave her sound advice on how to proceed, even helping her out along the way.
Your story is far and away different from someone posting submission results here as a sly method to advertise them, as far as I'm concerned. I hope you continue to post what was found.
It takes two to have a p------ match and even if some people flame you, you should just ignore them. Just let it roll off your back.
Please continue to post updates of what comes out of the hoard and they don't have to all be submission results. It's just as interesting to hear what else is there even if some stuff isn't worth submitting. I'll be looking forward to the writeup in Numismatic News and actually if you can get some background on the original collector I think it would make an even better story for the Numismatist.

The submission numbers became moot after the coins came back although you might suspect after typing them in hundreds of times waiting for grades, they would be burned into my head.
I think if you look at previous threads about this, you will see them all. I've shared all along.
i have some written down but not all.
if you dont have them handy i could dig back through all the posts and find em i suppose.
was curious about the 93 S coins as i only found 6 and i think you had more.
On a side note,whats chances of getting Lee on here for a q & A session ?

Duh, made a mistake again. So I edited it out. I thought the 1893 in MS 63 was an 1893-S.

made the same error and had it at nearly 1/2 a million !
but i did go back and just the 93 S coins i found was 46 K,half it and that should still be lite !
Proof
Sumission #9035999 has over 50 1893-P $1 that I very freely graded as XF-40 for the economy submission recieved 3/4/05.
That #9036406 could blow me away, 4 1896-O in MS(+ or-), 11 1897-O MS(+ or-), 7 1979-CC XF+, and a coulpe of lower grade 1894-P.
This is not a joke!

Makes you wonder - can there be too much of a thing in "key" dates? Not that it would even happen here, I would think the market could absorb even this amount of '93-S's and so on... but I'm thinking of what happened to the much-ballyhooed '03-O back in the '60s. Never say never!
Don't believe there were all that many 93-s maybe 5 or 6 and those were lower grade just like most of these are. What about those 95-o that were sposed to be ms63?
