1939 stamp & autograph of yankee owner ,value?

Hi,I am asking for a freind of mine who collects cards ,he just got a 1/1 1939 US 3 CENT baseball comm stamp, WITH A AUTOGRAPH from the Yankees owner of that year anyone know what the value might be? pristine condition thanks,Dave

    I think mojoman is describing a Leaf Century card, with a cut autograph and a 1939 stamp embedded. That said, I too am curious of who owned the Yankees in 1939...

    bjork73 that would explain the 1/1 so i'm sure you are correct. i was thinking it was a 1939 vintage com. stamp/envelope like this jacob ruppert owned the yankees but died early in 1939. not sure who was owner after him.
