I find using the lampshade techniquie more acurately captures the toning and have shown one obverse with and one without the lampshade. The lampshade does hide flaws though and could be used to make an MS coin appear higher grade than it really is. So, as Jeremy has cautioned us, honesty is important when using this technique.
