OT - WTB O's vs A's tickets 4/4/05

Well, looks like the ticket broker I bought Opening Day tickets from is going to flake out. Travelling form California to Baltimore for a convention and I just could not pass on buying tickets for Opening day at Camden yards. I leave in two days, no tickets, no return call or emails. I'll be in Baltimore 4/2/05.

Anyone have a legit source for tickets? Email direct, please scott@go-ac.com. Thanks!

I have had great success buying tickets on eBay for all types of events. Look for a high feedback % seller, read their past feedback, and you should be OK. You might even find a seller in Baltimore that can meet you to save on shipping lag.
  • Thanks for the suggestions. On Monday night I called AmEX and disputed the charge, as nothing was delivered and no calls or emails were returned. Interestingly enough, I got a call the next morning and the first topic the sales rep brought up was "why did you cancel your order if you want tickets?" After some discussion, I now have tickets on the way - with confirmed tracking number - for delivery tomorrow. Section 28, row WW. Looking down the third base line from the O's side of the field in the lower section in the sun (hopefully); 10% chance of rain (or better) 50 degree high. Got fingers crossed it does not rain!

If I were local, I'd take a shot at the No Scalp Zone, but coming from out of state - California - I want to walk in and get a seat. I thought about sitting in the A's section, but I want to have that park and the frenzy of openning day wrap around us. Took the wife to a Dodger game year before last and sat on the rail in the outfield. Not quite a moving experience, to say the least.

BTW - Learned today that Cal Ripken Jr is one of the speakers at the conference. Think he'll sign auto's?

cheap seats at Dodger stadium suck. I guess I am getting snotty, and prefer field level seats these days.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

  • I checked it out and the game is mostly sold out. Looking for the best pair of Field Bx seats gave me the chioce of upper deck nosebleed seats. When I first tried to get tickets online from the team site last month, none were available. The broker's tickets arrived today ( I had to drive across town to meet the Fed ex truck) and I'm excited to be going to the game. I hope everyone on these boards makes the effort to see at least one good game at the ballpark this year.

The number of seats you requested in Field Box was not found. However, seats were found in Upper Box. Click on "Check Out" to accept these tickets and continue.
