To split or not to split

Guys, need your feedback on splitting a big submission into two different subs in order to avoid the grader of death wreaking havoc on the whole lot.

    What if you get "The Good Grader" if you split you just took have your submission out of his hands.

    Save the money and the paranoia. Go large!

    Bob, I'm not paranoid here image I was just suprised to get this kind of feedback and was wondering what everybody else thought.
    I will take advantage of the special and send it all in, will be interesting to see read the feedback however

    I hear ya soft. The paranoia comment was in reference to the poll.

    From my understanding each card is graded individually and each grader has a daily quota. If it were me I'd send them all in at once. Grading fees are high enough without doubling up on shipping charges.

    A friend sent in a complete set of '67 topps hockey and unreal set 80% of it deserve 8's and the other 20% or so really deserve 9's and they all got 7's every single card in the set got a 7.. when clearly lots of cards are far nicer than others. I'll probably get some monkey crap thrown at me for saying so but it's true.. The grader must have fealt pretty lazy that day to probably grade a few closely then just rifle through them giving all 132 cards 7's.

    Good question... I have always wondered about this issue. I had a friend that submitted a lot cards and everyone came back as 9s and a couple 10s.

    Cool !
    Knuckles manages to top softparade's urban legend with an even wilder one.

    You guys probably aren't going to believe this story either,
    but one time on the way to band camp our bus broke down in front of PSA.

    A couple of us climbed over the wall and saw some graders with a dart board marked 1 to 10.
    You guessed it ! They'd throw a dart at the board and whatever number it landed on that's the grade the card got !

    i always submit at least 60 or more to bgs at a time. my last 2 orders i sent in 125 each. i should be getting them back in the 15days . i cant wait! i also have a order of 60 due today! i wish i can get a nice BGS 10!

    I had a shot of jesus juice sunday!! I still miss the community catholic chalice with the oh so sanitary while cloth wipe that i'm certain keeps me from getting community diseases. Anyway... I know a guy that sent in a huge order of similar conditioned raw cards. all in the 7-8 range. One group got nearly 50% 8s and 50% 7s. The other group got 50%7s and 50% 6s. He resent in all the 6s and got all 7s and a few 8s. There is no way of knowing whats going to happen, but I really wonder if PSA would give out a relative high percentage of 10s to a single submission regardless of how nice they are. Could be my conspiracy theory working here, but again I'll be anxiously awaiting your results.

    Honestly, I haven't made many submission yet, being a starving student and all, but I think if it were me, I'd sent them all in together IMO

    Just like ebay ignores the scams and banks in on the auctions... I sometimes wonder if PSA sometimes banks in on the resends. Who knows
