(hey conder101) -- what are the other numbers in the DH Conder book?

Bill (Cosmicdebris) and I are curious:
I saw Bill's post about his new Conders today -- very nice!! I have a couple of Conders, and I borrowed a copy of the 1969 Dalton and Hamer reprint. Bill's first one in today's thread is cited as "Middlesex/Kempson DH71" -- I found it under Middlesex (p.99) noted as "71" as Bill indicated. My question: what is the "A" number also appearing for that entry: "A.62"? Skimming through the book, it seems that all the entries have two numbers -- what I take to be the DH number at the left, and this 'A' number at the right.
