Did I screw up or what?????

I just sent in one of my 3 Ryan rookie cards for grading by PSA. I figure it will receive about a 7, which go for about $400+ on ebay these days. But look at these auctions:

A reprint for $173!!!! Are people that stupid? If so, I hope they bid on my cards!!!

    The first auction that you linked to is for a Topps Venezuela card which is rarer and more valuable than the regular Topps card. If you zoom in to the back scan you will see "Hecho en Venezuela"

    It is a Nolan Ryan RC but it is the Venezuelan variety and not the US issue. For this reason it carries a premium.

    At 967.00 seems a few bidders knew though. Guy seems to have lucked out (somewhat) That card should have fetched 400.00 more?
