There are 2 specials each month, one for collectors club and another for the set registry. On some of the specials they run them longer then a month...jay
<< <i>To take advantage of the Registry special does my set have to be ranked in the Registry? >>
No, not according to this " If you are not yet a set registrant, no problem. You can register your set in the PSA Set Registry after you have received your cards back from PSA."
Which seems to me like you could send in just about any card as a "registry" special. Afterall there are lots of Registry sets out there covering thousands of cards.
<Spam> if you want a 1960 Kaline PSA 8 there's one up on ebay already, save you the submission </spam>
ebay:1967topps 1967 Topps baseball wantlists (any condition) welcome. #14 ATF 1967 set. Yet another collector like skylaneflyer, gimel1 who made it to the completion of 1967 only to need the money more than the company of 609 close friends. Looking for 1967 Mets, yankees, and 1968 Tigers in PSA 7 and Venezuelan Norm Cash stuff
With the $12/5day Set Registry Special, could I send in my certified auto cards, for example: 99 SP Signature Don Maynard, Paul Krause, Jack Ham, and 2001 Donruss Classics significant sigs Larry Csonka and Jim Kelly? Since there is a HOF auto set I would think I could send them in for that special. Anyone else agree?
Excuse my ignorance, but what qualifies as a common? Is it cards priced under $500 in PSA 8? Seems like it should be, but then every card in 1967 except for Seaver rookie and Mantle would be a common. What exactly is the definition? Thanks for your help.
To be honest, I look at SMR value. If under $500, I submit as a common and haven't had any kicked back. In all honesty, most 60's football cards book under $200 in PSA 8 and under - with some exceptions. It probably doesn't effect football as much as it does baseball...just my opinion.

Collecting vintage auto'd fb cards and Dan Marino cards!!
It hadn't posted on the website this morning so I called in to find out and the CS rep didn't know if it was sport specific.
Thanks for posting. BTW I missed you at the SF Tri-Star I only stayed a couple hours. And then I stopped by at the SunTimes but didn't see you (I didn't ask either, everyone was very busy). But I'll find you at the National, it's my top objective.

If you find it listed in SMR for the set in question, it is not considered a common. At least that's my take on it.
