Hobby trivia - test your knowledge

I posted something like this several weeks ago and many of you seemed to enjoy it. This time though, it's more of a test of your knowledge of recent hobby news and just how close you follow what's new and happening. Plus, I went ahead and added a prize using some items from my collection that I got at the 2004 National in Cleveland. By the way, there is at least one PSA-related question this time as promised.
So, take a few moments to test your knowledge of recent news within the trading card hobby.
All of the questions and correct answers have been taken directly from recent hobby news and press releases. If you have kept up with recent hobby happenings, you should be able to correctly answer enough questions to be in the running for the prize package (worth $55).
Have fun and good luck!

Feel free to share how you did or any comments about the questions.

That's pretty good if you didn't attempt to look any of them up. Only 2 collectors have gotten 8 or better so far.

Thanks. I've really enjoyed working on it for the last 5 years now (much heavier for the past year) and positive feedback helps make it more worthwhile. You'd be surprised at some of the e-mails/questions I get. For example, did anyone know that there are new comedian trading cards? Seriously.
By the way, 4 collectors have qualified with 8 or more correct answers on their first try.

Why - soccer has never taken out in the USA like it was supposed to twenty years ago. Set of bass fisherman cards make more sense than soccer cards. 4 out of 10 - not too good. But I don't know anything about hockey except it isn't on ESPN all the time this year.
<< <i>Does that mean Upper Deck is going to release soccer cards ????

Yes, UD will once again release a MLS set this year. They're not going to miss a chance to have Freddy Adu cards during the early years of his career. Based on how Tiger's name was used to promote UD's golf products, you can guess how Adu's name will be used as well.

<< <i>You had 7 out of 10 questions correct.
Pretty good. You must spend at least some time keeping up with recent events related to trading cards.

The companies are missing out on Rodman. Can you imagine those promotional events?
I think there actually was a set of rodeo or bull-riding cards years ago. If there were some again, I'd probably get a few. Then again, I collect anything and everything.
Good reason for missing #9. LOL.

<< <i>9 out of 10. Stupid fishing cards...whoda thunk it? >>
And as my brother would point out, they're not just any old fishing cards. They're B.A.S.S. fishing cards and collectibles.
Great score as well! You're one of only 16 so far to get 8 or more correct.
