1904 Morgan NGC ms/63 toned, and the small National Bank sliding holder it originally came in FS her

This is a cool item. You may or may not agree, but I think it's cool. image A 1904 Morgan dollar that I had to send out to get slabbed as it was right on the bubble for ms/63-64 (came back 63, not surprisingly, but had to do it) that has some pretty, subtle rose, green and gold colors intermingled with a light goldish-tan toning. I'll post pic's, because it's hard to describe, accurately. The underlying luster is strong, and the strike is good. I know I've seen worse in 64 holders.

The box the coin was originally purchased in is marked "Strafford National Bank" "Dover, N.H." and is made of cardboard with a gold colored outer finish. The inside box slides out (similar to a Lexington box) to reveal a green felt pocket type holder where the coin was stored. The box is in ok shape, with a few worn spots and slightly torn areas. Still presentable.

I saw a customer sell this coin to a dealer at a local show, and promptly purchased it from that dealer after that. It's neat and had a better date Morgan in it which was even better.

Whether or not this is the source of the toning on the Morgan, we may never know, I can only go by what I saw at the show in the original transaction. My gut tells me this box was home to this coin for quite some time.

After all that, I need to get $325 dlvd. for the coin and the box (less 3% for check/money order). If you want to crack the coin out of the NGC holder and place it back in the Bank box, that's up to you.

I'll get some pic's done and if anyone has any interest, I'll be glad to forward the images to you via email. I can link up some pic's here of the coin as well later tonight, or tomorrow.

PM or post below if interested.

Thanks!
