Careless PSA submission- results...

I had a half hour a few weeks back, was watching both of our babies, and had been really wanting to submit some cards on the $5 baseball special so went to it. I had received a lot of 9's and 10's last year on similar material so threw together 20 cards to submit, did not look closely at them, and just hoped for one or two 10's (to sell) to pay for my submission. Got my results today and the results are painful... basically a waste of $100. Oh well... lesson learned! Very quick turnaround by PSA did impress me though!

Hoping for some 10s and only got 2 9s? Ouch. Better luck next time...

I did something similar awhile back. I scrutinized over the corners of some modern cards but when I got my grades back it was a bunch of 8's with a few 9s and 10s sprinkled in. Upon closer inspection, I didn't look at the centering closely. Lesson learned.
