Is this Maurice Richard auto legit ?

Richard auto

I have a little interest in it, it seems pretty close to some of the other autos. One can't really be sure.

I have 5 Richard autographs that were obtained in person by me and mine all are different from that one. Somewhat similar is the best guess I would have.

Another look at his old autograph:

I think it's a real auto from early in his career but it was signed pretty sloppy by him. Personally I wouldn't bid on this auction. His autograph isn't hard to find and there's tons of nice one's to be had.

Not that I'm into autographs but the "R" in Richard looks different from any of the auto's I've seen.

It might also depend on how old the autograph is. Near the end of his life they looked a little shakey.

  • I did notice that the "R" looked a little different than many of his signatures that I looked at. As was mentioned, his auto is plentiful and definitely can be found for less than the winning bid of $25.00. Thanks guys.
