ebay clutter - Thanks Superior!!

Superior has a bunch of live auction listings on ebay in the 1909-1958 PCGS Lincoln Cent category. I always skip the little "microphone?" listings 'cause they are annoying (and you can't win one unless your max. bid is astronomical.) So, not only are these annoying, Superior has listed many, many PCGS Lincolns dated 1959 and later and jammed them in the wheat category. Knock it off!

It's like the jerks who insist on listing the PCGS PR69DCAM Nickels in the wheats.

If I'm interested in what you have to sell, I'll find it!!

mozin - It's not only Superior - Heritage is probably worse, but I just scrolled through two pages of Superior's auctions tonight.

Maybe ebay could create a sub-category for live auctions?

Also keep in mind. Ebay tacks on 5% to the buyer fee, so now you are looking at 20%. Better to bid directly through the auction house website.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I like seeing Superior's and Heritage's stuff on eBay. I don't consider it clutter at all -- just more coins to look at, which is rarely bad.

Naturally, I would never bid through eBay on these -- just go to the auction house's website and save the 5%. But eBay provides a nice centralized place to see them all.

Actually I am amazed that someone would pay the extra 5% to bid it thru ebay and not go to Heritage direct....that 5% is often more than what I make on a coin.....

It's good to see that I am not the only one annoyed by the big auction houses on eBay. They smother us little people.
