Thread topic subscription notice email

Is there any way the email sent to notify us someone commented on a subscribed thread could be adjusted so we only get one notice instead of one for each comment? It seems like a waste of time and email space to get so many notices on the same thread. This could be reset automatically to zero when we again view the thread so a new notice would be sent if someone commented after our visit.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

    Your the first person who's ever asked. I believe most people want to know if someone replies to their post. If we just did it once it would defeat the purpose of the notice.
