Coin Selling question

Hope this is in the right place.
About 5 years ago I decided that I wanted to add some coins to my collections. Bought a lot of stuff, easy Morgans, 20th century including a lot of nice lincolns (all ms66rd) and washington quarters (ms65+) as well as some franklins, kennedies, ike's, roos, etc. Pretty much the works in 20th century.
Looking to optimize value and can do the work myself, like ebay. Any advice or comments ? Dealers to offer to? etc.
Thanks,
Fuzz
Wanted: Bell Brands FB and BB, Chiefs regionals especially those ugly milk cards, Coke caps, Topps and Fleer inserts and test issues from the 60's. 1981 FB Rack pack w/ Jan Stenerud on top.

  • I think if you have pics, this is a very good place to list your stuff.

Agreed, if you want to optimize value, then try the BST boards here first. Then I would move on to e-bay.

My advice is to try and get the best pictures possible for your coins to maximize your sales opportunities.
  • What kind of % of retail should I expect an offer from a dealer?

Don't bother selling to a dealer if you want to maximize value. Selling to a dealer is probably the best way to minimize the value.
