Nice collection. I'd like to be able to find the Saga, Wendys and Red Barn disk of Bench!
Is storage something of a problem?

Just send me all of your cards. You might go through a few weeks of withdrawal but is will all be worth it to get rid of your addiction.

    Carew,
That is so cool! Only fellow player collectors can understand your obsession. How many possible different backs are there?

If you were truly sick, then you would make sure the disks are all aligned with Rod's picture perfectly straight.

-Nice collection of Carew pieces-I collect Brooks Robinson-I just finished a collection of MSA Disc-the hardest on for me was the "customized" back-The wax paper cup lid is such a cool piece. Do you have all the Carews ?-I didnt see a blank back version-Here is my Robinson list-am I missing any??????????

MSA 1976-77 Blank Back,Ceasars,Dairy Isle (both versions orange and red),Zipz,Crane,Orbakers,Holiday Inn, Buckmans,Islay Sweet Williams,Towne Club,Chilly Willee, Burger Chef,Safelon,Red Barn,Saga,Carousel,Wendy's,”Customized” Back.

Very cool display! The FBI disc must have been extremely tough to find. I don't see the '85 MSA Subway disc (looks like the Thom McAn disc but has a blank back).

QuitCrab, yes I have an ungraded blank back. I know Frank Robby is in most of the Carew issues but I am not sure
    which he is not.

    Bobs,

Thanks for the heads-up on the 85 Subway disc. I had not heard of it. Are you sure Carew is in that set?

    Thanks again.

Yeah, I'm sure. Good luck on finding one. I've got about half the set, but Carew is one I still need. The Thom McAn and Subway cards turn up far less than the Peter Pan/Sunbeam discs and almost all of the '70s issues (except for maybe Saga, Red Barn, and Wendy's).
  • hi everyone,

what is all the talk about the "red barn, wendys, saga" discs being so rare ?

    imageimage

you wanna talk about rare discs, try the 1975 blank back test discs !!!

Look for "ptofile" tab at top of this page.

then at the botton of that page look for :
