Coin sent in for grade review.....

Hi,

I bought a coin (1968-S PR69DCAM) and then noticed after a few months that it is turning ugly on the reverse (brown spots forming around devices and even splotchy in the fields).

I called customer service and a nice gentleman was very helpful...got the form. I used my CC, filled out the form, and have sent the coin off today to PCGS.

Now, what comes next and what is the expected timeline? Does it just go to the graders or do you (HRH) get it? I firmly believe there is no way in heXX that this coin, as is, could get PR69DCAM.....it would be lucky to get half that image ). Was a good chunk of money for me too.

So, what kind of contact, if any, should I expect, and how long should it take?

Thanks!

Ron

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Hi Ron,

We'll look at the coin and if it indeed is too "ugly" or for any other reason is no longer a PR69 DCAM we'll take care of you financially under the terms of our grading guarantee. The process takes a couple of weeks. We'll be in touch.

    Thanks,

    David
