1970 Topps Nolan Ryan Trimmed?

Is this Nolan Ryan trimmed?

image

It's part of a set that someone is auctioning off:

MINT 1970 TOPPS BASEBALL COMPLETE SET NOLAN RYAN $2,000

I own several 1970 Topps baseball cards. Is a good test to see if a card is trimmed is to put it next to another card I know is not trimmed to see if they are the same dimensions?

  • no it's just miscut...topps had no quality control in 1970.

denwd1, some of my own cards look miscut but this Ryan looks like someone took a saw to it. image

I think that gets a centering subgrade of 8.5 from AAA Grading Services.

    Yes

It looks miscut to me though.

Badly miscut, but I think the Munson is the one you need to worry about trimming. If it's not, it's by far the best card pictured.
