Odd Size Submissions

Any advice on how to submit odd size cards that you just cant buy a card saver for? I dont have anything (or can find anything) that can hold Connie Mack All-stars, Kahns, etc. Will PSA also grade cards in a top loader? Mecca double headers are almost impossible to squeeze into a card saver without damaging them since they were so thin. Can you also just submit cards in a PSA graded card poly bag sandwhiched between two pieces of cardboard? Any input would be helpful

I just folded a Mecca and slipped it in the card saver. Things actually worked out pretty good. I think you need to tell them in writing that it's OK to unfold it. I don't know about anything else, though.

  • The ones I have are pretty tight at the fold. I dont believe they been folded over more than a couple of times, and that was probably in 1911. I just wanted to keep them as rigid as possible since I have heard that they downgrade if they have even a slight seperation at the fold.

For Kahns, Greatest Moments, Deckle Edge, etc. PSA sells larger holders for submission purposes. If memory serves you have to buy 50 to 100 at a time from them.
