    It's a half sovereign and the 2x2 says "Sov"

    There is a 1/4 oz of gold in a sovereign, not the ½.
    Former owner, Cambridge Gate collection.

    I have to give it to wybrit, as much as it pains me. image

    The 2x2 does say 1/4 oz but in the listing he says .1176 oz. Even my 7th grade Math students know 1/4 = .25
