I dont think you need to worry about it. I heard a statistic (and from what I have seen it seems to be true) that 10% of bids happen from the time the auction is listed to the last 2 hours of the last day, 40% happen in the last hour and a half (excluding the last minute), and 50% of bids happen at the last minute.

I know that, esp Lincoln collectors love to snipe, but argh... the 49-d half went for $91. What's up? Isn't $165 wholesale, retail being even more? $91? And an ms65 43-d half went for only $195. At least the 49-s half is doing well.
