Question on GB proof sets

I have a 1950 and 1951 proof set. Both sets are encased in philo-film type material. Is this how these sets came from the mint?

Is the 1951 set 10 coins?
Are the coins in their cases?

Yes, the 1951 set has ten coins, 6 in one film and four in another. I have the cases, the '50 case is rectangular and red, the '51 set has a square blue case.

My most recent copy of Spink is 2004 and they value them at 1950 £100+
and 1951 £125+ .
The packaging seems correct.

I had never seen the sets with in the film before. Every set I've seen for sale has the coins directly in the case like this one. Also, did the mint issue two different color cases? red and blue?

I know the Crown was issued in different coloured boxes.

I have two 1951 sets, one with a green box and one with a blue box.

I believe they were issued in the plastic but most are seen directly in the cases
