I remember a discussion but not sure which thread it was connected with....what is your question about Score Board? The COA's were discussed and how easy it is to use it with bogus stuff and turn the real stuff into PSA/DNA for their COA.
I have some early 90's stuff that is good - the flaw in their system which was not a big issue back then was the fact that the COA's aren't numbered and "matched" to the item. But back then you could get a Mantle for 39.95 in the Penny's catalog (1989-91 time frame) if my memory is correct. Heck, I even remember when Mantle jumped to 50+ bucks for signing and people complained but he was still sold out.
I wanted to get a Sports Illustrated Poster auto'ed and he was sold out at Hoffstra in 93 - too bad since the poster auto'ed would be scarce and well worth a grand!

  • Thanks its a big help.. I was worried that Score Board had bogus Auto's.. Looking at the COA now I see what you mean no #'s and it looks like you could scan and copy them all day long.. BTW is this the link to Mr Mint ?? Bogus Auto's that is ??
