Does the new Babe Ruth figure alway have the #3 on his back?

I don't know but the variant sure looks weird..

Babe Ruth or PigPen.. you decide.

That's what I though too. My Ruth figure has no # on his back.

One of the variant Babe Ruth figures appears in Sephia form also called the "News Print" form--this explains the different colors. I'm unsure about the number issue.

I have the basic figure and it has no #. I haven't gotten my variant yet, but I don't think it has a # either
