I know SCD stopped grading STAR basketball cards, but are the ones they did grade in the past legit? If I auction took this card to GAI would they grade it is authentic?
I think so. I've heard nothing but good things about SCD grading. I don't think you'd see much of a bump, if any, in a crossover to GAI though. If you want it for your collection, I think you'd be fine. The SCD "UT" Star cards are even more confidence inspiring if you come across any.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.
