Whats the proper usage of the lamp shade ?

Big end up or down ?

Lights on the outside pointing in ? or the inside pointing out ?

Pleated shade or not ?

15 beers and on your head or not ?

What size shade (other than your hat size) ?

I cut off the bottom of a one gallon milk jug and then cut off the rest about 6 inches up. Use the light from the side. On a very sunny day, you don't even need the light if the sunlight is sufficient indoors.

The 1 gal milk jugs work really well. They come in several different degrees of opacity, and shades of white. I keep several for use with different coins.
