Make an offer auctions

I've made 3 offers so far since Ebay has been letting you set up auctions with the best offer feature. One was 15% less than the asking price and flatly rejected...the other two were sat on for days, the items sold before the end for the asking price. I'll not be using this feature on these auctions again.image

I've used the feature as a seller and have had mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, I accepted several reasonable offers (where I had the wiggle room to do so). On the other hand, if a buyer made a very low offer but was still interested in the coin, they were not able to put in a second offer.

In a possible defence of other sellers, I haven't gotten used to the feature yet so my response time to offers hasn't always been good.image

Since it's still a basically new feature, I wouldn't be so quick to say never.

Those darn cheap Ebay bidders anyway ! What can be done about them ?

Seriously I really think Ebay needs to fine tune this option a little. Some people are just searching for a number from the seller and with only one offer available most of the time the number is not found. This has happened to myself both as a buyer and seller.
