Price help needed on 35% off center Statehood 25c ?

The owner is a non collector and wants $100 for it. It's a raw AU53. I really love the coin, but I will pass if it's not a good deal. Sorry no photos, the current owner barely let me hold the coin...oh yeah, it's a 1999 Georgia.

Fred Weinberg's site has three roughly similar off-center Georgia SQs, all PCGS and 20% OC. The AU58 is $200, the MS64 is $250 and the MS66 is $275. He comments "these are scarce for this state". A raw 5% OC Georgia "BU" is $85.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

I agree with Kranky. Go to Fred's site to check prices. I would love some of these that far off center. I think they are really cool like that.
