PCI help, please

There are a number of very nice looking Morgans closing soon on Ebay in gold PCI holders with nine digit serial numbers. Is gold and nine digits the desirable PCI holder (if any could be), or am I remembering wrong?

It's the green label ones that are the best.

If you get them at a good enough price though you should buy them.

It's the coin not the holder but...

the green holders with the 17 digits are the ones to get.
I think green with 14 might be ok too.

Green holders w/10 digits generally good.

Green holders w/14 digits good up to MS65 or so.


Everything else: Crap

There are no 17 digit holders. Green with 10 digits is the best. Green with 14 digits is okay up to MS65 or so. Green with 9 digits is as bad as gold.

If you can't see the serial#s, look for pointed 6s or pointed 9s. Those are the desireable Green/10-digits.
