This is probably a no brainer, but has anyone ever sent off coins for certification without guestimating how they will grade???

I just sent off 21 coins to NGC and frankly I didn't even give them a once over before sending them....in my defense they were all toners so the grade wasn't that important to me.

Just curious how you make you selections???

    I just sent my first submission in to anacs on Monday and I agonized over it for 2 months. I finally decided on 7 of my toned raw coins that were in other holders at one time or that toned in albums. The rest of my raw Morgans (13 blast white) will have to wait.
    Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!
