Mystery certification?

I was wondering if any of you guys ever sent in an unopened proof set. Just to see how it would come back,

I know with the certification charges its a gamble. But just fror the mystery?image

And of course how did you do?
(Old man) Look I had a lovely supper, and all I said to my wife was, “That piece of halibut was good enough for Jehovah”.

(Priest) BLASPHEMY he said it again, did you hear him?

I would never do send in coins to be certified without looking at them first. It would be a pig in a poke more than a mystery.image
  • I did that once - PCGS graded the coins and then sent them back individually
wrapped in brown paper with a holographic security seal and a label certifying
them as genuine unopened proof/mint set coins. image
