Help identifying ancient electrum

Hi all,

I need some help with the identification of the ancient Greek electrum.

Weight is 2.25gm and the diameter is about 9mm.

    I'm not an expert by any means, but it shares lots of characteristics of the pre-Croesus trites (1/3 staters) from Lydia. Forgive me if that is stating the obvious and you're looking for more precise information. Link below the pictures to general info about the Lydian trites...

  • Wow-- I think those are like 6th Century BC or thereabouts. Those are about as old as coins get-- and they're gold to boot!
