ot: but I was wondering.

I had to clean out my aunt's house and I found a bunch of records, 45's and regular size elvis, frank valley, 4 seasons etc, are these worth anything. I am probably putting them on ebay but I was wondering. Is there a price guide for record albums?

There actually is a rare record board on this forum. Looks like they've had 2 posts so far this month.

  • Try the Buy/Sell/Trade Records forum....just use the navigation bar at the top. And of course do an eBay search of current/completed auctions to get an idea.

The jacket cover is where the money is mainly. However each album has a number/letters etched on it and it is from there that its production date can be garnered from. Those with the earliest dates command more dough.
    Good for you.
  • There are a couple of price guides for records and albums. Most of the records have to be (usually) of a low print run or on a special label. Mint records and original mint sleeves count the most, just as in anything.
